in the country. From Woburn in the north
of the region, boasting 3 Championship
courses, The Dukes, which has hosted
more than 30 professional tournaments,
The Duchess and the new Marquess course.

have Hanbury Manor and The Oxfordshire,
both having hosted European Tour events.
Then moving nearer London, you get the
world famous Wentworth courses, Sunningdale
and Walton Heath. The remainder of the
courses in this region are a little
lesser known on a world scale, but still
great golf courses, The Berkshire, St
Georges Hill, Worplesdon, Woking, Wisley,
Westhill, The Buckinghamshire and New
Zealand. |
