Reservations and Deposit
 
A non refundable deposit of 30%is required to hold your reservation. Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to arrival date. Any tour booked less than 8 weeks prior to departure is due FULL payment. Payments can be made by Visa or Mastercard. All Visa payments carry a 2.5% handling charge. On receipt of your payment an email will be sent confirming your itinerary, please check this carefully and report IMMEDITELY anything incorrect, as changes may not be possible at a later date.
 
 

Cancellation and Changes

 

Any cancellation by the participants MUST be notified by email. The 30% deposit is non refundable. Any cancellations after the full balance has been paid is also non refundable. An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for any changes to the itinerary requested by the client or travel agent after full payment has been received. In the event of a cancellation by English Golf Tours, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full. There will be no refunds for any absence from the tour once it has begun for missing golf, meals, transportation or anything else included in the itinerary.

 
 

Pricing

 

All prices are per person and based on twin occupancy of hotel or boarding house. Single room supplements apply to all hotels. We also reserve the right to pass on any increase charges for any golf, hotel or transportation.

 
 

Golf Rules

 

Appropriate golfing attire and footwear should be worn at all times on the course and in the clubhouses. Handicap certificates should be carried at all times where necessary. You will be informed which courses require handicap certificates at the time of booking. We will do all we can to obtain your requested tee times, however there may be times when we have to alter tee times. English Golf Tours will not be held responsible for any infringement or any violation of dress code, no handicap certificate or changed tee times.

 
 

Weather and Playing Conditions

 

From time to time adverse weather conditions dictate whether a course is playable or not. If a course is closed and you are prevented from playing then it depends on the policy of the club concerned as to whether a refund is due or not. We also cannot be held responsible for playing on temporary greens/tees, owing to work being carried out on the course, or for missed games due to inclement weather.

 
 

Responsibility and Behaviour

 

English Golf Tours assumes no responsibility for, and the client hereby releases English Golf Tours from any claim, cause of action, loss, expense, injury or damage that the client may incur, relating to the failure by any third party, (such as an airline, hotel, transportation service or golf course) to perform its obligation to provide goods, accommodations or services, the negligence or wilful misconduct of any third party in connection with the performance of its obligation to provide goods, accommodations, or any other act of god, civil disturbance, conflict, strike, theft, government action or changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort or well being of passengers, or changes as a result of unexpected conflicts not indicated in our itinerary.

 

When you book with us, you accept total responsibility for any loss or damage cause by any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss MUST be settled immediately with the parties concerned. If you fail to do so, you will be responsible for meeting any claims, made against English Golf Tours, as a result of the damage or loss, together with our own, and the other party's full legal costs.

 
 

Car Rental

 

Drivers must be 25 years and over. The maximum age is 70 years.

 
 

Travel Insurance

 

All visitors should have adequate travel insurance cover. English Golf Tours will not be held responsible for loss, damage, theft of luggage or personal belongings, or for personal injury, accident or illness, or cancellation of your tour.

 
 

Special requests and Medical Problems

 

If you have any special requests, you must advise us at the time of booking. We will endeavour to meet any such requests, such as dietary or accommodation.
